I start thinking about you lately again
Without any sorrow, disappointment, grief and deep regret
But with the feeling of understanding and being surrender
of the destiny which never could be avoided by both of us

Different kind of love of course
Love which never means to possess
Love which means to let go
Love which means just to hope somebody you love is happy in his serenity
Even without yourself in the part of this
I feel the wound still nevertheless
The wound which I gained at the time He took you from me
I just hope one day it would be healed.
It has to be healed someday anyway
In one way or another
I just hope you don’t have it with you
I accept to be here in this life and live
Without any wishes to run away from it anymore
I accept my fate as it is now

AML

Acute Myeloblastic Leukemia

Penyakit yang menyerang 2 kelompok usia
1. Dewasa muda (20-30 tahun)
2. Manula (>70 tahun)

Penderita kebanyakan pria. Sebagian besar penyebab AML tidak diketahui.

AML menyerang sumsum tulang, dimana darah diproduksi. Dalam leukemia akut, sel darah putih (leukosit) berubah menjadi ganas dengan jumlah yang meningkat hingga seratus lebih banyak daripada jumlah normal, mengakibatkan sel darah merah (eritrosit) tertindas sehingga pasien menjadi pucat, lemah dan kurang darah. Sewaktu leukosit diproduksi dengan jumlah tidak terkendali, produksi normal platelet menjadi tertekan sehingga penderita mudah memar, mengalami perdarahan dan sakit kepala.
Gejala : pusing, nafas pendek, letih, demam, dan gejala seperti flu

PROSEDUR DIAGNOSTIK RUTIN
1. Bone marrow aspiration, penyedotan sumsum dengan jarum besar.
Sebagian kecil daerah kulit dibius, dibuat irisan kecil kemudian disisipkan dengan jarum besar hingga sampai ke dalam sumsum sehingga cairan sumsum dapat disedot.
2. Pengukuran jumlah leukosit dan eritrosit.

PERAWATAN
- Terapi induksi untuk membunuh setiap sel dalam sumsum dan dengan demikian menciptakan lingkungan dimana sel normal dapar tumbuh kembali lebih cepar daripada sel leukemia.
Induksi kemoterapi I dengan obát araC yang masuk ke tubuh selama 24 jam sehari selama 7 hari berturut-turut. Obat ini disebut juga red death, karena warnanya yang merah dan mempunyai efek dalam membunuh sel-sel dalam sumsum tulang. Allupurinol diberikan untuk mengatasi rasa nyeri pada tulang.
Infus diberikan untuk menghilangkan produk sampingan pada ginjal.
Mendapatkan juga antibiotika dan anti jamur karena penderita sangat rentan terhadap infeksi.
Kemungkinan hidup tanpa transplantasi sumsum : 0%

TRANSPLANTASI SUMSUM (US 200.000,-)
Sumsum dari donor diambil dan dimasukkan melalui intra vena kepada resipien. Donor harus cocok secara genetis.
* mentransfer seluruh populasi sel sumsum dari satu pasien ke pasien lain.
Survival rate: 80 - 90% (donor harus cocok secara genetik)
